ABOUT Sibulelo
Born 08 June 1990 in a township called Nyanga (Cape Town). A lot happened between 1990 and the present, but am still based in Cape Town. My Passion for photography started in the early 2000s when one of my sisters was participating in beauty pageant in her High School. She used to show me her pictures from all the competitions she participated in. I remember paying a lot of attention into the pictures, drawn more to what was happening around her, focusing to the crowed which was blurred, trying to recognize faces. Growing around sisters meant that there were always fashion magazines laying around. I used to enjoy going through the Africa Fashion Magazine which was an A3 paper size. There was something striking and interesting about seeing the photos of the different fashion models on the runway, how they were captured, the angles they were captured at, that's when the love for Fashion photography developed. I was still in high school then, but I knew then that I would be a photographer.
Education:
I did my primary schooling in the in Eastern Cape in a little town called Aliwal North. Completed my high school in Cape Town.
